1.  Login Interface


User Need

Fatima needs a secure and straightforward way to log in to the app using her username and password.

Key Features

·       Username and Password Fields: Essential fields for users to enter their credentials securely.    

·       Profile Icon: A prominent user profile icon to help users quickly identify the login page.

·       Login Button: A clear and easily accessible button to submit login credentials.

·       Password Recovery: Option for users to recover their password if forgotten.

·       New User Sign-Up: A link or button for new users to sign up and create an account.

From the Crazy 8's method, the most voted sketches highlighted the following elements:

·       Minimalistic Design: The interface is clean and uncluttered, focusing on essential element like username and password fields.

·       Visual Hierarchy: The layout guides the user's eye from the profile icon to the input fields  and then to the login button, ensuring a logical flow.

·       Security: The focus on essential elements without distractions helps users concentrate on  entering their credentials securely.


2.  Homepage Interface

User Need

Fatima needs a space for recent announcements, safety alerts, and an easy-to-use navigation menu.

Key Features

·       Dashboard: A centralized space for recent posts and important updates, providing users with quick access to the latest information.

·       Notification Bell: A bell icon for users to easily see new announcements and updates.

·       Navigation Menu: A menu at the bottom for easy access to different sections of the app, including home, search, user profile, and settings.

User Need

Fatima needs an easy-to-use app to plan neighborhood watch meetings. She must be able to set the meeting date, time, and place.

·        Calendar View: A calendar to select and schedule meeting dates.

·        Scheduled Meetings: Dates labeled "Meeting" on the calendar to indicate scheduled meetings.

·        Meeting Details: Access to important updates about the meeting, including day, time,   title, and description.

·        Next Meeting Information: Display of details for the next meeting at the bottom of the  page.

User Need

Fatima needs a simple way to communicate with neighbors in real-time, share updates, and    discuss safety concerns.

·        One-on-One Chats: Private conversation spaces for direct communication between neighbors.

·        Group Chat Space: A dedicated area for all group members to discuss and share updates collectively.

·        List of Neighbors: Easy-to-access list allowing users to select and chat directly with specific individuals or groups.

 User Need

Fatima needs a feature that allows neighbors to immediately share their exact location during emergencies so they can be contacted directly and get help quickly through chat or SOS alerts.

Key Features

·        Real-Time Location Sharing: Allows users to share their precise location in real-time during an emergency.

·        SOS Button: An emergency button that triggers an alert to notify selected contacts or authorities, along with the user's location.

·        Emergency Contacts: Access to a list of emergency contacts with quick call options.

·        Safety Alerts: A section dedicated to displaying urgent safety alerts prominently.

·        List of Attendees: Show a list of names of participants who have joined the meeting, with checkmarks or other indicators to denote attendance.
