Setup Meeting feature simplifies the process of planning and organizing neighborhood watch gatherings. With an easy-to-use interface, Fatima can schedule meetings, send out reminders, and ensure everyone is informed, making it user-friendly even for those less familiar with technology.




  1. Community-Oriented Passion

User Need: Share safety updates with minimal effort.
Community-Oriented Passion feature equips Fatima with tools like group chats and message boards, enabling her to share updates and safety information effortlessly. This encourages open communication and active participation, fostering a stronger sense of community.

  

  1. Set Location

User Need: Including all neighbors, even those who are less proficient in technology.                       

  Set Location feature makes it easy to choose and communicate meeting venues through clear directions or map links. This ensures that everyone, including those who are not comfortable with technology, can participate in meetings and feel included.

  

  1. Effective Leader

User Need: Build trust and foster collaboration among residents.
Effective Leader feature enhances Fatima’s ability to lead by providing tools for task management, delegation, and progress tracking. These resources help her unite the community, encourage teamwork, and build trust among neighbors.

Ideation Process with LEGO Serious Play

User Needs Representation Step 1: Initial Model Building   Each team member built a LEGO model to represent a specific need of Fatima Ibrahim. We presented our models to each other within the group, each taking 10-20 seconds to explain the need represented. We then chose 1 to 3 words to describe each need and wrote them on sticky notes.  Step 2: Addressing Additional Needs   In the second round, we each built a LEGO model to cover any needs not previously addressed. We repeated the process of presenting our models and describing the needs with sticky notes. Reflection and Consolidation   Together, we reviewed all the models, identified overlapping needs, and grouped similar ones. This ensured that we had a comprehensive set of LEGO models representing all the crucial needs of Fatima Ibrahim.
